Got a New Project, Parting Ranger

I picked-up a 2000 Explorer with 5.0 It had a bad fender and hood but only 128k on the clock. I was able to fit the Ranger Edge front end on the Explorer. It needs work but it's all on and driveable. I plan on remounting the bumper, it's low and the Edge fenders don't match the doors. I have the Explorer fenders and may use them to fill the gap or put in mesh for like venting.

Parting the Ranger, keeping the rear of the truck to make a trailer out of and selling the blower kit on Ebay. I am back in my comfort zone with a 302 and a shorter rig. :icon_thumby: I moved over my custom consul, sub woofer and Ranger seats.

That looks really good! Cut the fenders to fit and repaint and that'll look nice! I wish Ford would've made an Explorer that looked like that...

I'll take it one step farther. I wish Ford had made an Explorer that looks like that with a solid rear axle.

That actually looks a lot like my 05, but IRS:bad:
