Paying right around $3.00

I'm gonna sell my 4.0 soon and get a 2.5. gas is my biggest expense and it's killing me, haha.

Yep. But that's what happens when you vote for HOPE and CHANGE.

Domestic drilling will solve the problem instantly - but the community organizer has nipped that in the bud, hasn't he? Which will drive prices up due to lack of supply, which means we will have to import even more of our fuel - which will drive prices even higher because the oil producers of world know we're over the barrel, both figuratively and literally. They can charge whatever thay want, and we'll pay it because we are a mobile society, and they're only game in town. Which then makes oil look like a bad choice for fuel...

...which is what the community organizer has wanted all along.

$40,000 electric cars, anyone?

It was an all-encompassing and generic 'you.'

Gas prices plummeted because the world's economy tanked. And the economy is nowhere near 'way up.'

And for the record, gas was maybe 1.80 on 19 Jan 2009.

I paid 3.09 this afternoon for 87.

Hardly a glowing testimonial to the community organizer's skill at fixing the economy.

Its hovering at $3.23 for basic and $3.43 for premium. But with 19 mpg I cant complain so its a keeper.

I was kinda disappointed when my dad gave me the keys to my 2.3l 2wd truck, but I always get AT LEAST 24mpg. And when I ride my sportbike I get 32-40, so as of now I'm not sweatin prices over the summer lol. By the way, I paid $2.91 yesterday in south ga.

My Ranger has been demoted from dd since '03 thanks to its drinking problem. Actually it is in the waiting room for a V8 transplant that I hope will improve the milage into at least to double digits reliably and actually have some power to go with it... and not have have to keep adding oil too.

I will be putting my small tires back on my F-150 if the situation doesn't improve by the time winter is over, and if it hits $5/gal I will break down and buy a $50 rim for my 21spd so I can ride it to work. Even with the big tires I can go almost a month without filling up if I don't go to the big city (which saves even more $$)

Blended diesel is a odd critter, every year the local CO-OP says it is good for -15 and every year some grumpy farmers call in because their tractor is gelled up and some get along great with it... last year (with the winter of winters) nobody got along with it without additives.

I will never stop driving my ranger no matter what gas costs, but I will probably drive my harley in place of the ranger when I can.

Fuel is hovering around the $3.00 /gallon mark here in NH. Between $2.97 & $3.09 in the Concord, NH area.

I'll keep driving my Ranger. I can eek out 25 mpg with a light foot and VERY short shifting (in 4th by 35 mph).

It's 3.13 here. I will never stop driving my truck. If gas prices get real high, then I will start shopping for a 4banger truck otherwise, there is no way I'm getting rid of my 4.0 2wd speed demon.
