Control Arms or Bushing replacement

At a very reasonable $35 for the right, $40 for the left, while bushings are $16 per side. Is it worthwhile replacing the bushings?

My thought is, if the bushings are bad, the non-removeable ball joints shouldn't be far behind them.

I might save time and money in the long run replacing the assembly. Is my reasoning here backed up by your experiences?

With my luck, i would do the bushings and then during the alignment, find out the ball joints are bad. Granted, its about twice the money partswise, but only half the trouble to go ahead and to the arm assemblies first time around. How many miles on the truck? Low miles, i might take the chance on bushings only.

upper arms right?

no brainer, do the entire arm. replace bolts with adjustable camber/caster kits if factory stuff isn't adjustable.

2wd (coil) and 4wd arms are different, they are not interchangeable.
