I never had one that old... I've seen one in all my years of collecting. It was somewhere in the middle of the two you posted. I do remember them wanting more then I was willing to pay.

I could see that.

Getting close to 100 years will have thinned the herd some too. For $5 I was all in lol.

So I needed to try out my coffee making set up before I go camping. So this morning I fired up my 508 and made some coffee with my new french press. Thinking I'm going to add the metal cook box onto my swing out tire carrier... door folds down to make a work surface. Still in the planning stages of how to make it work... but the plan is to make it removable. The coffee was actually pretty good too!

Here's a cool one for you guys. I ran across this while on the way to drop my kid off...we were kind of just having a lazy day and decided to stop at this place called Boyd's in Custer, SD. Pretty cool, well organized junk/antique store. I've been on the lookout for Coleman stuff since this thread and found a few things right away.... a 413 stove, super neat Canadian stove that was way past my budget, a 200A lantern, and this.... and I about shit myself when I saw the $25 price tag. Walked right out with it.

From what I can tell it is a 442A stove made in '64. Most of it is aluminum except the grate, burner and tank. Tag said "as is" and I found out why - it really likes to flare up and takes a long time to settle down. Pretty sure the burner tube is partially plugged or something, it needed a cap seal, and the valve lever is kinda sticky. It works though and I'm boiling a pot of corn on it right now. I think cleaned up it'll be the center piece of my stove collection.
