Code P0219 Engine Overspeed Condition

Hi all!! The check engine light on my 2007 Ranger Standard Cab 2.3 Liter Automatic Transmission. The code pulled is P0219 and when I googled it it said it’s an engine over speed condition. The transmission shifts really badly but the fluid looks good and is at the proper level. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this code and could give me some advice and guidance.
