Ok here goes : 93 xl 2wd, 4 banger 5 speed. 365k, 60 k on clutch. Today started to get hard to go into gear (any), just stopped to get gas and with pedal on floor not fully disengagin nearly stalling it out. Can hear a bad bearing sound with clutch in. Am I looking at a clutch replacement again? Original lasted 300K. With that replaced everything but the flywheel, all clutch components, new master cylinder with line already assembled and pre-bled. Current one is stage 2 clutch. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked the fluid in the clutch master? was the slave changed at the same time as the cutch? I doubt the clutch is bad, it sounds like air in the clutch fluid system.

Yes checked fluid level. Is full but no longer clean. Yes slave was changed with clutch with new parts.

probably air in the master cylinder, easiest solution is to top off the fluid then push the clutch pedal to the floor then slip your foot off of it a handful of times... I'm about 90% sure that will solve your problem... sounds stupid but it's worked several times for me in the past...

Mine does this when it's cold sometimes. A few pumps to the floor and it works perfectly.

Try furiously (but gently) wiggling the stick side to side.

If that fails, turn it off, put it in the gear you need it to be in, then start and go. Repeat Xx if you're parallel parking.

Also, row it into first when rolling to a stop at a light. Or turn it off, but to accessory for the radio...if it's a really long light...

It's embarrassing, perhaps...they really should have TSB'd this shit. lol
