Hey guys,
I am pretty sure my asnwer is yes, but just want you to confirm for me.

What I have is a 99 t-bar 4x4. It has a 2 1/4 degree bolt kit that is maxed out and camber is still off. Wheel bearing are new so It's not that. Drivers side sits 1/2 " lower than passenger. Probably sagging a little due to old age (like me).

Question is, If I crank the bars up a little to get the height back where it was, should that bring my camber back to where it should be?

Thanks

Which way is the camber off? Negative or positive?

As you crank the bars and the suspension droops more the camber goes more negative.

My credo
Leave it better than you found it.
So you already have the camber bolt kit installed and maxed out, correct? Still not sure if it's positive (top leaning out) or negative (top leaning in), but what kind of shape are your ball joints in? My 1998 t-bar 4x4 is (and has been) needing ball joints BAD and ima put that camber bolt kit in whenever I get around to doing them...someday soon I hope...before the insides of my tires are completely worn out.

Ball joints are good.

Top of tire is in.

Inside of tires are wearing.

The top of the tire will pull inwards more with cranked torsion bars.

So it sounds like cranking them up higher would make my camber worse.

Anybody have any suggestions on what to do to fix it?

Found this on a set of superlift instructions

"32) ALIGNMENT...
Realign vehicle to factory specifications. Record the ride height measurement at time of
alignment. If the torsion bars settle excessively in the future, alignment can be restored by
adjusting-up the bars to their original ride height.
"

Sounds like this will fix my problem.

Cranking the bars up makes camber go negative.... /---\

Loosening the bars makes camber go positive.... \---/

Something is wrong if you can't get it aligned with aftermarket eccentrics.

Is the truck stock height or lifted?

I've got my torsion bars fully cranked and was more than able to get my alignment within specs with an aftermarket set of camber/caster eccentrics.
