I'm new to owning a 4x4 vehicle, I have a lil '98 FORD Ranger and I recently came across two bronco II's for sale and my bf and I bought them for our 5 year anniversary. We had all kinds of plans to make a BA lil woods truck for me like his big mud truck. Little did I know however, one week later he left me and tried to take both trucks but I wasn't gunna let him keep what he didn't pay for :nono: So I now have two 4x4 bronco II's and not too much of a clue how to fix up and build them for what I want because he wouldn't allow me to help out in the shop or to teach me anything :bawling: But I'm going to learn to build it without his help and hope to be able to drive circles around his trucks at the mudhole and out trail riding :taunt:

Welcome.

I need a woman to help work on a bronco. Lol, he didn't know what he had. I only know of a few women that will get their hands greasy. Good luck with the trucks. Post some pics if you can.

Yeah I'm not scared of crawling up under a truck and playing in the grease, oil, mud, etc. My dad always tried to keep me as his lil girly girl but workin with my hands and fixing things just seems to be more fun then make-up ever was :) And I will try to post some pics up of the truck as I fix it up

I have now redone my headliner, have working heat and a/c, replaced the old rusted radiator, ripped out all the old carpet that was covered in mold from all the leaks (need ideas for new floor covering), fixed the wiper linkage and now all 3 wipers work. Still have the cap and rotor to replace, figure out why my door locks all stopped working, have to replace the brake booster and master cylinder and some body work and finish off with a new paint job.

Welcome! ...and I'd say replace the carpet with a good bed
liner like Herculiner.

Well, if all 3 locks don't work from both switches, I would guess that the lock relay crapped out or the power wire broke.

The unfortunate thing is, nobody seems to know where the stupid things are. I have looked everywhere and can't find them.

The back hatch lock works just fine from both sides of the power lock buttons but neither the driver or passanger sides lock or unlock and I can't even move the passanger lock button down by hand. :bawling:
I already have an air mattress that will fit in the back if I fold the seats down but I'll be doing that alone now since my ex is gone...lol :derisive: But as for the flooring, I looked into the bed liner covering but I think I may save up a lil more for the vinyl flooring molds which has heat and sound barrier.

I looked into the lizard skin but most guys on here said that it still needs to have replacement carpet over the lizard skin cause it won't hold up to all the traffic across it :( So idk anymore
