I bought 2 pairs of the pioneer ts-a6872r 3-way speakers, 40 watt rms/240 max.

here is some more info on them

I later bought some components for the front, so now i have an extra pair of 6x8's laying around. I'm thinking about building a sealed (or ported?) box for them to use in my room because i need speakers and i have these and i have free time...

So my question is, what dimentions should the box be? Would they sound good in a sealed or ported box? I know boxes are usually for subs, but i figured it would have almost the same effect on a 3-way speaker right? Thanks for any and all input.

Edit: I could build one box for each or one big box for both, whatever you guys think would work best.

They work out to about .2 the key is don't go insane, keep it about .2-.4 and you'll be fine, can your receiver/ amp handle a 4 Ohm load though or just 6-8 ohm? Cause if it can't handle them you'll burn out your receiver.
