brake master cylinder-continued! booster question

I'm pretty sure my master is sucking air through a hairline crack and needs replacement. I have an 8.8 out back so since I'm replacing the master anyways I'd like to put a 4 wheel disk brake master in. Looking at the '95 and up ranger/explorer masters there's a third port coming vertically out of the top that I have no line for, what is this for and is it something I can just plug? Maybe plumb into the system somehow?
Thanks

It's for the cruise deactivation switch. You know, the one that leaked on tens of thousands of Ford vehicles and set tens of them on fire and caused millions of dollars worth of stupid recalls.

Find a pipe plug that fits that hole and plug it.

got my cylinder removed and found that the booster is pretty beat up and probably not sealing well, the part numbers between the '95+ boosters and my '87 booster is different by only one number and they're only a few bucks difference in price, would there be any benefits from running the newer version?
