I didn't see a thread here about it so I thought I'd start one.

By far not their best IMHO. CODMW2 is FAR superior.

I don't like all the cut scenes and how it plays (for you) to keep the story going.

There is a combat training section in the multiplayer section for people like me that suck at multiplayer. It creates a death match/Team DM game and you can practice against AI teams or players.

I gave this a lot of effort and came to the conclusion that it's not that I suck at MP, I just don't like it enough to put the effort into it LOL.

Anyway, it's not bad, but if you haven't bought it because you're a die hard COD fan, I'd wait for the price to come down to about $20.00.

i agree with you, it's not their best. MW2 was a really good game. i traded in some old games i had, so i only paid $30 for it. but yeah, i'd wait til it comes down before i bought it for $60.

i havent finished the actual game, b/c like you said, there's too many cut scenes....the graphics are also a little lacking.

i do like how you earn points to buy stuff in the multiplayer section, some of the new weapons are cool too.

Meh, didn't really care for the single player but the MP is far superior, at least for PC, they got rid of the P2P bullshit and brought back dedicated servers, P2P absolutely ruined MW2.

COD4 still has the best campaign.

They sad black ops was supposed to have a longer campaign but I finished it in 5 hours, about the same as the others

WaW is still my favorite so far. haven't tried black ops yet

i've noticed getting into games takes a lot longer than MW2, but MW2 used to always lose the connection midgame.

x2 on the COD4 campaign, the only reason i havent traded in my copy is so that i can play the AC130 mission whenever i want.

Haha JK guys, my favorite COD game was MW2 hands down. special ops missions in MP are the best. i play it whenever i have some free time, havent had the chance to play black ops yet.

Anyone tried the new Medal Of Honor? That looked pretty good!

I'm debating on buying COD Black Opps but I dunno. It'll be hard to top MW2. Plus I'm still playing battlefield bad co 2, the new fallout new vegas (awesome) and Fable 3 (awesome too!)

The reason Black Ops isn't the best is because it was made by a different company... I believe it is every-other game or so, they switch companies on who gets to make the game so some games tend to be better than others.

Black Ops was made by the same company who made World At War. Modern Warfare & Modern Warfare 2 is made by a different company.

It sucks monkey balls IMO. The graphics suck compared to what the XBox can do.

I thought the graphics were lacking as well, not much detail in the firearms. It's lacking sharpness. I dig the MP. I like most all the maps and the fact that there is 14? to begin with. Zombies is also fun every now and then. Haven't played the SP yet.
