I'm still here!

Picked up a tinted slider window at the wreckers that I'm going to install at some point.

I've watched a few videos, read a few things but I thought I'd get some opinions.

Which urethane would you use for this type of work?

Have you (non-specific you) ever replaced the back window? What tips or recommendations would you have? I'm going to take my time with this, there is no hurry to get it in.

I wonder how much the glass replacement place would charge if you supply your own glass... Though it looks pretty straightforward.

Thanks.

Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
We used to swap the back glass out of our trucks all the time. No Need to pay for labor. You or somebody you know can do this job. Watch a few different youtube videos and go to it.

I guess this is a things you hate doing situation. I dont mind doing brakes, but hate changing glass lol.

Plus if it leaks its not on you to repair it, just some water is.

The extended cab ones aren't too bad and the 98+ regular cabs are the same... it's just bolted in. When I did mine a few months ago I just got the butyl rope stuff from Autozone or or whatever for like $16, put it in the groove in the window and installed it.

They're easier to put in with two people, one per side but not too bad, just line up the holes and go for it. I do have to say, go a little further on the nuts than I did, now I have a leak and have to get back in there...
