Hello, I'm new to the forums. I had a rear-driver-side brake hose snap on me the other day. I'm trying to replace it, but the thing with my truck is that the underside is fairly corroded; stuck bolts, disintegrating clips, etc.
Anyway, I'm trying to disconnect the hose that runs from the splitter atop the rear diff. to the rear axle, and there's like a metal boot? or something covering the connection. I'm nervous to force it in any way due to the corrosion. How do I get this thing off?
