If you cant fix it blow it up
My brakes lock up periodically and you hear that screech from the skid. No ABS light, no engine code. HOWEVER periodically I will have the ABS light come on (normally while on the highway) fluid level is fine what are causes of these?

I would pull the offending rear wheel and drum off, and check for minor fluid leaks. Oil or brake fluid will contaminate the shoe linings, making them "sticky" and have a tendency to lock up easily. When you pull the drum off it should be brown and dusty behind it. If it's black, check the shoes, if they had a build-up on them and are not dusty also, then you have a minor leak there from somewhere. I have tried cleaning the shoe linings with brake cleaner, it does not work to bring them back.

Know what? I did have a fluid leak in the brake line at the wheel cylinder guess ill replace em. Alsi every now and then the abs light comes on as well but mainly when im driving on a highway (no brakes being used at all) I'm gonna have to check the entire system out. Also im about to make a post asking about the hubs this ones real weird
