So in the morning i was on my way to school and my truck was running a little rough, and in about 2 miles the check engine light started flashing and then went steady. So i turned around and talked to my mechanic neighbor who said it sounded like it was misfiring and to try changing the plugs. So i stopped by kragen and got some plugs (the truck felt like it was running fine but the CEL was still on). I got to school and in my auto class i ran the codes and came up with P1116 (ECT Sensor Out Of Self Test Range) and P1464 (A/C Demand Out Of Self Test Range)(i normally drive with the defrost/feet on). My teacher said it probably wasn't the plugs but i could change them anyway. So i changed them and reset the codes. After class when i was leaving to go home the truck started running rough like it was misfiring again, and at a stoplight i took it off defrost/feet and it ran fine. The CEL did not come back on
Its getting pretty cold here in Sacramento and id like to have the defroster work and not make my truck run rough. Does anyone know where i should start to look so i could fix the problem?
