After some consideration I have decided to swap my 96 Ranger to a manual. I believe the proper trans would be an M50D. I have a 94 Ranger I am either going to part or sell and it has a manual. I know I need the tranny, computer, and steering column. What else do I need and how difficult is this? I don't belive I can use the 94 as a doner, the steering column looks different. Any help or advice from someone who has done this would be apprciated.

Basically the only part that the '94 can provide is the transmission,
flywheel, clutch & slave cylinder

The pedal support, steering column clutch master cylinder and clutch
line are completely different.

You will also need to replace your Engine computer.
