Title says it all.

I have a recently acquired 94 Ranger, but the Gas, Voltimeter, Coolant Temp and Oil Press gauges don't work. For the two days I've had it so far I just thought I got really good mileage (I only drove it 40mi) and the fuel gauge didn't move.
The cluster illuminates fully at night-- is there a relay somewhere that controls the other gauges?

Other than that, I am loving my new-to-me Ranger.

I think they're all electrical; I suppose I will check under the hood in the fuse box.

It's probably worth pulling off the cluster and checking the wiring. Either you're not getting +12V (more likely) or you don't have a ground. I don't recall but I think the lights might operate on the same ground as the gauges so with your lights working I think that rules it out. There should be a fuse which runs all of them.

Fuse 7, 15A.

Instruments use a variety of grounds, so verify that power is getting to the R/Y wire.

Fuse 7 was missing. All the fuses that were there were good but I didn't think I'd just be MISSING the thing.

ABS light came on though.

There's a 5v ivr that feeds the instruments, that might be out. The voltmeter is obviously not fed by this so you might have more than one issue. Temp, oil and fuel are reference to ground so its not a ground problem at the dash. Pull the connecter off the temp sensor and see if you have any voltage there, should be around five. If you do shorting it to ground should send the gauge to full hot.
