So I have a 93 Ranger with the factory aluminum rims think they call them deer hoofs.
Anyway after almost twenty years of life the stock hubcaps went byby ,one by one.:icon_confused:

Factory replacements$$$$ :bawling:
Shop in utah wanted 55 for a set of 4, but I am a cheap bastard.
Even tried to make a mold off my last one:icon_rofl:

So I came up with this one. They were just black For a few weeks.
Today I thought up the chrome looking mini moon emblishments :D
What can I say Im a cheap bastard but they look cool from 10feet :thefinger:
Take a guess what they are ?

Fruit cans cut to 2 1/4" slots cut every 1/4" 1/4" then bent back .
Painted flat black. The bent back tabs make little teeth and increase the circumference to make a really snug slip fit that wont pop off.
Minimoons ,bottom of paint cans cut with canopener that cuts the side, siliconed on.
If too short they bottom out on the front hubs, try again, what the hell free:icon_hornsup:

Forgot the warning /disclaimer

Dont try this :icon_idea:
Was made by a professional retard, but if you insist..........
Warning make sure the cans are empty
Pierce cans slowly to allow gas to escape bottom up.
Do outside away from fire and or smoking as gas and/or contents may pose a explosion risk.:icon_welder:
If you try this and get mamed or dead :sorrysign:
Tell your momma to call the short bus :yahoo:

The aerosol cans you retard,if the fruit cans blow up well thats a new one and I shall relinquish my sofa king crown to you.

Thanks anyways ,these solve the problem of busted lost stolen ,a replacement is minutes away and at 10 feet good enough .

Dang man. If I'd known you needed those center caps i would've given them to you. I just scrapped my 95 explorer with them a month ago. I'm in Utah too.

Honestly it wasnt the not having caps that bothered me ,it was the lack of symmetry of the hubs in the front, vs not in the back . Then there was the feeling of being ripped off by ford for replacements.

Then there is no aftermarket replacements to be different ( what the hell ,I want knockoffs):icon_confused:

At first I was going to put Skoal lids , but that would have been a wee bit too redneck for me. :D
