I Just changed out my slave cylinder. Went to hook up the master cylinder and the couplings have different connections from one another. One has fingers/ teeth. And the other has a clip.
Does anyone know if the "Rhino Pac clutch master cylinder with line" kit from parts geek.com, if it has the clip coupling or the fingers coupling?
Any response is appreciated!!

Welcome to TRS :)

I assume you didn't buy it as a set
Its called a Quick Disconnect fitting and Ford used 2 different kinds which is what you have found, early 1990's is when they switched the SLAVE end(and Master) to the new style

But good news is, the Master's line end "usually" works for either, the clip style or the finger style connection on the slave

Some times you will need to remove the o-ring from masters line end and clean and sand the metal end, then put o-ring back on, and push it into slave, the older style can be a bit larger, but just a bit

The Master's end has a valve inside that closes when its disconnected so fluid can't run out and air can't come in
So if fluid is running out when its disconnected then its bad, so replace it, the master

Good video here on what you are seeing and how they work

So the Master from any supplier "should" fit either slave, should being the key word

I wondered if it was an earlier design. Thank you for the quick reply!
