Are they the same style wrap, such as the top wrap and bottom wrap as the EB coils?
The duff coils I have sunk right down and took up the 350-ppi portion and don't really flex... the rest of the kit is just begging to be flexed but the coils are just too damn hard still. The duff coil buckets are designed to take ranger or EB coils. Judging by the pictures from JBG's site, they have the same style but not sure about the dimensions.
Right now the truck sits visually level, and I'd like to maintain that. Most of the 6" lift coils for a ranger I see are 20" free length, but are 400+ppi.
Deaver superflex coils for the early fullsize are listed at 23" and 300ppi.
I read somewhere on here that EB (for the length and PPI equivalents, fullsize too) give 3" of lift at "stock" height, so for a 6" lift on a ranger, a 3" nominal coil would be necessary. Although it seems figuring the free length and ppi will be more effective than a rule of thumb...
What's the consensus on the Early coils, potential of 67-79 coils being the same first/last wraps as EB, and desired lift height with those? I'd rather not waste $200 or so.
