Ok so I know that the 4.0 with the 5R55E has a 2500-3000 RPM stall torque converter from the factory, which in my opinion is slightly high for a stock vehicle but I'm not complaining. The question here is, why does every replacement converter say 'Low Stall" on it? I definitely would not call a 2500 stall low, so does this mean that they have a lower stall rate or are they just out to confuse the masses? Transtar labels their FM68HD as a 2550-2950 stall rate, while other sites quote a FM68HD as "low stall." What gives???
