What’s the history behind the block

It was in the ranger when i bought it. Ran pretty good for a while. It started burning oil and i already had an explorer for parts, so i took the 4.0 from the ex and built it up using the ranger as a donor. I dont have the heads because when i had them tested, they found some cracks in them. Ended up selling the ranger and they didnt want to take this block with them.
