I have some pics but I don't know if they're the ones you're looking for.

4.6 dohc in a '98 2wd.

4.6 sohc in a '98 4x4. (picture is large so just a link)

4.6 sohc in a '85 2wd.

My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.

I think I can sum that one up. Hack, hack, hack, beat, grind, hack, don't need that part, beat some more. After you get past that stage it's time to grab your BFH and do the minor fitting work.

Honestly, putting a 4.6 dohc into a '98-up 2wd isn't all that difficult. You have to build your own headers or exhaust manifolds (there's enough room to run them inside the frame) and the steering shaft needs to be moved over a little (easy). The rest is real simular to a 302 swap. No mods needed to the frame or firewall. Everything in the engine compartment goes right back where it belongs.

You can check out my websites to see what all was done or is being done.

Sorry, no hacking.
