I am putting a 3.0 V6 with auto trans from a 2001 Ranger into a 1960 Rambler wagon. I am using the stock Engine Control Module, (P.A.T.S. anti theft function deleted). I am also using the stock Catalytic converters along with stock o2 sensors and all the other heat, speed, rpm sensors but need to deep 6 the driver side insulated heat riser pipe from the exhaust manifold (EGR?) and all the connected hoses and related junk. (uses too much critical real estate) Will I need to have that function deleted from the ECM? or can I simply discard it all and plug any vacuum ports related to that? and how will this affect the performance? Thank You, Jake.
