Looking to see if a 3.0 ever had a carb. Or if any other intakes will fit.
Ive heard 2.9 will fit but I didn't think the 2.9 had a carb ever.

No 3.0 ever had a carb.

A 2.9 never did either, and even if it did it would not even come close to fitting.

.....and before you ask, no, a 2.8s intake wont fit either.

Morana has one...

$560

They do supposdly offer a distributor to work with the 2.9 and a carb, they might have one for the 3.0 too.

They have 3.0 carb intakes. We are going to put a 3.0 in a crosley. But now I see supercharger parts as well. Thanks.

I figured morana had one. Who else makes them? I was just saying they never had a factory one.

The essex and the vulcan are different engines. The 3.0 essex i believe is the same family the 3.8/4.2 is from.

I do know the essex and vulcan are different engines, yet it's still a Ford 3.0 with a carb setup.

Yes, technically. But its not a vulcan 3.0 which was the engine in question.
