So ok this is my first ford and so far i love this truck but i have some issues ive done tune up and fuel filter the truck bogs down on take off then picks up in rpms slowly now the weird thing is the excaust is really hot at the tail pipe dont think it os supose to be like that any ideas please let me know thanks

Well yea it makes sense if your exhaust is hot. It's going to be hot no matter where you go or how far you go. It could be time to replace the clutch on it too if that's the case.

If you are running rich the exhaust will heat up, cat converter will get really hot burning the extra fuel in the exhaust.

What's the MPG like?

Does the truck run well when cold, i.e. no bogging, and then gets boggy when warmed up?

O2 sensors are like spark plugs in that they do wear out, they get slow reading the air in the exhaust, so computer ends up running engine rich.

Also cleaning the MAF sensor should be done every few years.
