Hi
Just wondering if anyone knows what front axle is on my 2008 ranger 4x4?
I was looking at the differential and it has a similar shape to a dana 44, I know its IFS but I just thought it was pretty cool that the diff looks like a dana axle.

Also does anyone one know what the transfer case model is?

And how can I find out what gears are in my ranger? I heard something about a number on a sticker inside the driver doorway is there any truth to that?

Does anyone know how large I can go with the tires on my ranger with the sport fenders without lifting it? I want to lift it but just don't have the funds yet. :headbang:

Thank you

It's a Dana 35. The transfer case is a Borg-Warner 1354.

Most of the YJs and TJs, yes. The TJ Sahara's have 44's.
If you're looking for a donor or something, quick way to tell is the 35's have a rubber fill plug (99.9% of the time). The 44's have a steel plug.
