Hello I’m new to this thread and would like to share my mild ranger build with fellow enthusiasts!
I have a 08 Ford ranger 4.0L 4x4 XLT
Truck was bought for $1,500 (supposedly Bad Trans) when it was purchase it was in its stock form with 184,000.
Total cost of build: $2,700
I’ll try to go in chronological order, I started with a 3in torsion key lift, that allowed for 33x10.50x15 bfg km2 to fit under the truck I went with 10.50 on the front and 12.50 on the back, the tires are wrapped around dick cepek rims, I did trim front valance for 33s. Had a soft spot in upper right corner of the bed so I put in a construction mat to add structure when loading things in bed. Purchased a “roll bar” and leds for the top rhino lined roll bar, also pick up the elite bumper, rhino lined the inside and paint matched the outside, also have a m90 sitting in the garage for later shenanigans truck currently has 204,000miles and I’ve owned truck for alil over 2 years and have not had any major issues besides general maintenance and rusted brake line. If anyone has any questions let me know and I’m happy to provide my knowledge to the fellow Rangers out there! Keep it between the ditches folks and roll on
