ive worked on 3 of them, they arnt bad, but if you like to mudbog in thick slop it might not power through like a 450+. but a 350 is a good size, and it will do some serius boggin until it gets stuck, i got my raptor with mudsharks stuck and the honda came beside and stoped and them started then he pulled me out. overall, good on power unless you are a speed and accleration nut like me

i happen to own an 01 rancher 4x4 since brand spank'n new

power? decent

speed? no

but it is light enough that i have literally rolled it end-over-end by myself several times to get it out of a mudhole when i got stuck.

change the oil and it will last forever. when the brakes wear out, upgrade to the front disk kit (wish i had)

If you want something to last forever get a honda. I personally own a 03 raptor 660 and 88 honda fourtrex 300 the honda is a crazy work horse took a beating and kept running till I let it set for 2yrs and the petcock and carbs get crappy. So from my last experince with honda Im sure if you keep the PM up on the bike you will be happy with it.

We have them at work, 01s and 02s. Nice ATVs, more power never hurts, but then we aren't racing them at work either. We have terrain ranging from water crossings, slick mud, rocks and deep sand.
