i was looking to get an stage 1 cam for my 98 ranger 2.5l that would build me a little more hp but i keep running into roadblocks bc nobody sells hydraulic roller camshafts for 2.5l's. Anybody know where i can get one?

There are plenty of aftermarket roller cams thanks to circle track racing. Look under the older 2.3s. The 2.5 is just a stroked 2.3...

Yes, +1 ^^^

The Lima(Pinto) engines share many parts, 2.0l is an under bored 2.3l, 2.5l longer stroke 2.3l.

Removing mechanical cooling fan and using an electric cooling fan is a good way to free up horse power for the rear wheels.
Ain't much but ain't nothing either, better MPG and more power, win-win.
