It's not a bad piece, but Solid has one thats 1/4" thicker at about $30 cheaper...

I got it because with 1.5" dom tie rod there is no room for a thicker cover or I would have gotten a 3/8 ruffstuff cover like I have on the 8.8.

I'd look into the Solid (axle industries) diff cover. My local 4x4 shop sells them for $65.00 and broncograveyard.com has them for $75.

There should be more than enough room with that cover.

I have the Solid diff cover too....have plenty of room for the DOM...but then it is on a D60:D:thefinger::thefinger:

Got the shafts in and spindles on but the wheel bearings are bad and rotors are more grooved then I thought so I need to get some new ones.

I really think you will regret not going hydro.
I guess I should've added low budget to the title. Full hydro is about $1500. And if going full hydro I should have went triangulated 4-link front and rear another $2000, because I don't know how well panhard bars and full hydro go together. The total price when I'm done if I stick to the plan will be about $5000.

Oh yeah if I did all that I should have went 60's. That is why I don't have a build thread on Pirate :icon_rofl:

And hydro assist can always be added later:icon_thumby:
