07 ford excape headlights HELP

so this girl im seeing has a 07 escape, she was driving home and said her headlights were flickering/flashing while on daytime running lights, when she put the headlights on the worked fine any idea's or imput? it seems to me ive seen a few viechles driving down the road with headlights flashing

Could be a bad fuse block. It's a smart block, has a control module integrated to it.

The light sensor sends it a signal and when it gets dark enough the module decides to turn the lights on. I'd say there is a loose connection somewhere between the sensor and the block, or in the block itself.
