Hey y'all, new here, need to find an answer to something I can't seem to find anywhere else. Is it possible to swap the newer intake manifold from the 2004-2011 2.3 Duratecs onto the older 2002 Duratec? My swirl flaps are pretty chattery and the plug on the front fell out last week so now it needs to get some work done to it. I was wondering if it's possoble to put the newer intake on with no issues so I can delete the flaps? I saw another forum where a guy mentioned swapping everything from the cams, exhaust manifold, and pcm to put the intake on, but that doesn't make sense in my mind. I don't see why it can't be a simple bolt on and move the existing vacuum lines and sensors over? Please help, thanks!
