There should be a program code close to the pcm for example BRN3 look up flagshipone on ebay give them your info and your program code and a couple hundred they'll send you a new pcm with uncut keys

Look in the tech library, there's all kinds of info here. By the way, your truck is a 4x2, a 2x4 is lumber.

Thanks guys sorry I didn't even notice I was driving lumber I was more worried about my truck. I've hauled a lot of lumber in the old girl. I have put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this truck just for the simple fact that I want everything just perfect and I love to tinker!!!!!!! So I haven't done anything with my PCM yet!!! but I did go to my local junk yard and get the 5 speed standard transmission I've always wanted $214.00 then $200.00 more for clutch and flywheel!!!! The clutch pedal and master cylinder I had sourced from one of my brothers old jeeps for free Thanks bro!! I set aside 2 days at the start of last week dropped that auto trans and put the standard in!! Day 2 I ran into a few small problems the standard trans. was almost 3ins shorter then the auto so I had to find a longer driveshaft lucky enough for me my brother had a couple driveshafts laying around turns out one from a chevy pickup was exactly what I needed!! So day 3 I pulled it off the ramps and drove my now chejeepford 4x2 3.0l pickup! Maybe the name needs some work too any suggestions are welcome. But the old girl loves it she goes pretty good now I've got some new shook's and headlamp assemblies on the way!! I will be adding some pictures of my truck unfortunately I didn't get any pics from the trans job. I would like you guys to please give me any advise or constructive criticism. also any information about 3.0L engine performance moods would all be helpful.

It's good that you left the PCM until after the trans swap, a manual needs a different program. The quickest way to make it feel more powerful is lower
( higher numerical) rear end gears. The 3.0 is a good engine but not real torquey, if you have 3.45's or 3.73's going to 4.10's will make a real improvement. Taller tires will sap power the same as high gears. It's all about revolutions per mile.
