I saw a very similar accident in my youth with a 73 mustang. I lost 3 friends that night. I don't think it is so much who made the car but who drove the car that caused that result

That sucks. People need to slow down. Keep the racing to the track. No matter how a car is built, its how fast the car is going and if the driver has good judgement or not.

Ouch, anybody manage to survive I wonder? Doesn't look like there would be much hope? Super fast car+ what looks like snow in the back ground means you should be tip-toeing not showing that a super fast car can go super fast. Guess whoever was in that car found out the hard way cause it looks like they were HAULIN

Don't understand the appeal of doing 100+ in a 25 zone (not saying that I haven't done it before but...)

Don't remember the exact details but something along those lines of not injured and 2-4 times the speed limit.

damn thats very sad..i lost one of my best friends that way. my buddy was doin about 110 in his 97 z28 and blew a tire hit a tree with the passenger side...afterwards, there was 3 piles...the nose, the shell, and a pile of parts..unfortunately he didnt survive...alcohol WAS a factor too...its a shame

That looks like an old school pole.

Youtube is being stupid and I can't find the video of the old cars crashing into mailbox posts. Even those were horrific. The new ones really are better, there would have been a swath of destruction if they hit that pole in an old car from the front end rolling off into the distance.
