Hey guys just to clear up a couple things. I am ALWAYS very respectable, and have NEVER done anything to break any of the condo rules. There is both above and below ground parking, being my truck is lifted I do not fit underground. As well, we all pay condo fees which PAY for the electricity for the plugs.

I cant figure out why, but these people apparently thought i was plugging in too much, which is dumb. I should be able to plug in whenever I want, as long as i want.

The condo president came to talk to me, and informed me about the 3 people. I explained my case and she was very understanding...she subsequently spoke with the 3 geezered individuals.

Since then, my truck has remained plugged :)

He has already admitted to keeping some odd hours related to work.

Since its a condo setting it is likely that one of these people saw it, thought it was running up his or her electric bill, then said something to a friend or neighbor, or two, as old people are wont to do. Now they all think they are paying extra for the electricity being used by the block heater (probably not realizing that its not going on their bill and its likely a minuscule amount, thus leading to all three of them unplugging it thinking they are saving themselves some sort of money.

alright simple solution. assuming that its a 3-wire extension cord, cut open the outer casing and strip just the hot wire down the whole length of the cord. carefully plug it in, and when your lights dim, you'll know you've caught the perpetrator.

just curious, why are you plugging in your ranger?
'Cause it can get dang cold in Saskatchewan! I remember having to plug in my Explorer there just to make sure she'd start in the mornings... My dad's diesel had to be plugged in all the time!

He has a block heater. Basically it keeps the engine warm when it's too cold out, and makes it easier for it to start and less "warming up" time before he leaves.

When I lived in Thunder Bay, I always plugged my truck in. We saw -50*C more than once. I also had a battery blanket and it made a huge difference in whether or not the truck would start.

That's why they call it vengeful retaliation. Can be done later when they are least expecting it. They're old, memory is getting short. You can hit them and they won't have a clue as to why.
