- My credo

So awhile ago I made a post about my thermostat housing and thermostat essentially kicking the bucket.
Well after replacing it I haven't had any issues until last Sunday. The cheap plastic new one split at the seams where the two halves are molded together and started leaking coolant. Luckily, I was on the highway and it was raining and very cool outside so I was able to limp it home having to balance the heat and speed.
This time around though, I ditched the plastic cheap housings and got a metal one, it wasn't cheap but I think it will be well worth it. (I'm curious on how it will handle heat vs plastic), and today I installed it.
It came with gaskets and such, and I added a little RTV just to be sure.
