What's happened to the backyard, red-neck, do-it-yourself attitude??... I'd build it myself using 1/4" plate. Unless I had some kicking around.

For myself, I jerry-rig a lot of stuff together and make it work. But when it comes to the safety and stability of my running gear, I don't want something falling off doing 100 down the highway. Just my $.02![]()
i build most of my own crap... but when its as simply as $20 and i work 40 hours a week and have 18 hours in college classes... running my autozone is easier than cutting/welding/grinding...
now things like a bumper... $160 in materials compared to buying it at $550... hell yeah i'm gonna make it. i find time.
