Gt-12

Thats easy, just install a gear tcase (like a 205) and where the rear output would normally go to the rear axle, you hook this to the other motor, the front output now becomes your driveline output...Would also work for using either motor or both...Hmmm, Gwaii, maybe I just gave you an idea for a twin engine ranger :icon_idea:
SVT

this was my first thought...

or make it run backwards

and this was my second one:icon_thumby:

(there's camshafts and starters available for reverse rotation marine aplications)

you would probably be better off using a differential than a t case. It would allow for slight differences in engine speed and whatnot

that wouldn't actually be a problem.even if you had two engines tuned to give power at different rpm's,they would just average each other out....forcing them to run together would essentially just make it work like a single engine with two induction systems.

(this actually isn't a new idea for me)

isnt this how some pulling tractors are set up? ive also seen a mud bogger with two 350s in it in line with one another but no idea how they were connected

yup....some of them have six or more engines all pulling-it's like a friggin porcupine, with blown big-blocks as quills.

It must suck having to diagnose a misfire on one of those things.

I can't seem to find any info or pictures on it but Benny Osborn had a drag car with two BBCs side by side, mated only by the teeth on the flywheel.

got the edge rounded off, ready to use.

some aluminum clamped on,ready to start whacking.

from the back you can see how i just drilled some holes to clamp through.

tapping the edge down didn't take long.now i have to cut out a piece for the face, and round it's edge off.then the two pieces need to be fitted perfectly together, then welded.the welds will be smoothed out, leaving a nice rounded edge.
