So have you ever done any work on motorcycles? It wouldn't surprise me if you had a v8 triumph sitting somewhere in that little wonderland of yours.

i used to be all about motorcycles.

still got my tzr,but it's been out of use for about 10 years now.every now and then i think i should put on the new tires and chain i bought for it in 1999.

bikes are not too bad for that,they don't take up too much space.i'll have to do some digging on the bike pic,but in the meantime i've got this;

been doing some fitting on that rocker.still a lot of trimming and welding to do,but you can see what i'm trying for here.

and this is how the pipe fits into it.next car i build is going to sit higher....this laying on my side trying to fit stuff is getting to be a pain.

purchased new in 1988,they're pretty rare this side of the pacific ocean.none went to the u.s.,i think there were about 100 brought to canada.mine is #3.

this pic was taken while on a whirlwind trip in the u.s.,that's alcatraz in the background.went down the i-5 to sacramento,from there over to san-fran,down to l.a.,over to vegas,up to reno,then back to the i-5 for the run home.left on the thursday of the easter long weekend after work,and was back home on the monday about noon.went back to work tuesday and had to wait till i got the photos back before anyone would believe how i spent the weekend.

(that was back when they had a thing called 'film' in cameras-you had to take it to a drug store to have it turned into something called 'prints',usually took a couple of days.this was called 'developing')

i'm pretty sure toph is even younger than you.....there's lots of folks here that don't know what the world was like before the internet,it's always been there.

Shit...I'm only 23 and I've developed my own black and white prints....its not that OLD....

I used to be big into shooting film with my old Pentax SLR.

Now of course I'm shooting a digital SLR...its just more convenient.

Sounds like a hell of a trip on the bike Tom!

ya,i just like bugging you guys....especially mike.

and that was one hell of a trip....glad i did it,but i'll never do one like that again.now it seems i need to sleep at night,not just ride through for days at a time.

She was a year younger than me. The other lady that worked the photo lab with her was about 90 though.
