There is a company doing ESCs properly - basically half of a turbo with a big ass electric motor stuck on it. but they run a seperate Li-Ion battery to it.

I'd do this if it worked(on a street truck)... but I'd replace most of those connectors with something more substantial.

Never seen an electric supercharger before.

The funniest thing was him talking about the switch you had to install to "ignite the supercharger." I'd like to ignite it...wait....wait....If I put that on my 2.9, it will run like a 4.0 and sound like a vacuum cleaner.

In real life, the size of the electric motor has to be an unreal amount to gain anything.


My brother is an electrician and explained to me the impossibilities of it, I just can't remember any of his terms.

What's even sadder is mine is carburated and I can't hook the dang thing up...I'm sending it back now...

Anyone notice all the stuff that flew out of the thing when he turned it on? I thought it was metal filings or maybe he left something in it...just looked a bit, well, unsafe to have that stuff flying off at high speeds...
