What posessed you to buy that at 17 years old, and who pays for it and the insurance?
Want my guess? It involves some deception.

F you guys, all this talk of riding and i've got ice everywhere.
don't worry, it's not just you. The ice/snow is mostly gone now but it's still wet during the day and refreezes overnight. And even if it was dry I'm not man enough to ride to work when it's 28°F out.
To me, it's just a good opportunity to have my bike apart for mods while I won't be missing any riding. My Nightster is currently sitting without a seat, tank, ignition coil, air cleaner, throttle cables, or brake hose.
my dad owns one of these (buell lightning) his is blacked out,hes working on a custom HID kit and he put a magnaflow muffler on it. i rode it around the block. frist time on a bike and i want one!id probley get in trouble or kill myself on one lol

I really like Buells (sad to see them shut down) and if I was going to get one it would be basically any one of the XB other than the Ulysses. I just dig that fuel in the frame, oil in the swingarm, rim-mounted rotor technology stuff. Funny that it was wrapped around a 25 year old engine design based on 80 year old engine tech, but if it aint broke don't fix it, right?
My boss has one of the early S1 Lightnings, I think it's a '97. Not nearly as advanced as the new ones but still pretty freakin cool.
