have a Honda Rebel cmx250, perfect beginers bike in my opinion

Great bikes. I had zero trouble out of mine and would still own it if I were doing less long distance travelling. The 500 is a bit more comfortable for me after a few miles. Hopefully the GL650 will be even better when it's on the road.

I am trying to get into this, dad's got a custom made Harley Chopper, its assembled from 3 or 4 different cylcles, very nice, needs a lot of work though. Pics soon.

Glad it's working out for you. If you do ever look for anything with a little more legroom and muscle without a lot of added bulk, the EN500 is a fantastic option. Like I said, though - the 250 is an excellent machine. It does exactly what it was designed to do brilliantly.

You'll find me on both of those forums, but more often at rebel250.com. Also involved at choppercharles.com now that I"ve got the silverwing.

I have a few bikes too. An 09 Yamaha TTR 125 (my wife's trail bike), an 08 Suzuki DRZ 70 (my little fella's ride), and I have an 08 Honda CRF 150 (I'm a small guy and a novice rider so it's plenty of bike for me).

Should be a nice ride. Heavy for a first bike, but nothing wrong with it other than that.

I finally ordered a new master cylinder, stainless brake lines, and caliper rebuild kits for the Silverwing. That pretty much ends the list of things I need to get it on the road. Just have to find (a lot) of time to finish working on it.

Also ordered a new front tire, tube, rim strip, and brake pads for the Vulcan. Hoping to get those on tonight. The Cheng Shin front tire just doesn't have the grip I'd like, and the pads were getting too thin for comfort. It's been a great bike. A bit over 8k added to it since I bought it last October with no real problems. I've added around 1500 miles to it in the last two weeks and it's begged for more.

1980 Bajaj Chetak

Didn't think ya'd see that on here did ya? What can I say though I'm eclectic as hell! Before this I had a 08 Harley 84 Suzuki GS450A(Automatic) and a 72 CB350. Had about 10 others but I never kept them more than 6 months.
