Im getting dual exhaust put on soon. Flowmaster 44 with 2.5" pipes to 3" stainless steel tips. But i meant like perfomance upgrades to get more power.

The only way to get a substantial power increase is going to cost big $$$:

1) Forced induction
2) Increase displacement
3) Goto VVT
4) Modify camshaft parameters, and you have to make a choice:
a) Increase low-end torque, and decrease high end HP
b) Decrease low-end torque, and increase high end HP

I've never seen it offered for a SOHC 4.0L

I put a drop in filter in my stock air box and the engine seems to run smoother on the road. Didnt really notice any power.

For what its worth keeping the stock airbox is better than running a cone type filter in the open under your hood. That draws in a lot of hot air.

Just remember to clean and oil it a few times a year or it will suck in alot of unwanted debris that eats rings.

Turbo cars respond well to cone filters but they usually suck in as much air as they can get.

I just pulled off my cold air intake(AFE Dry Filter), put the stock air box on with oe spec filter. I will let you guys know how i do
