l have been researching the Chevy spring swap and cannot find any definite answers on whether a one piece drive shaft in required?
Does it only apply once a certain amount of lift is reached? If so, what is that limit?

One other question... my truck has the standard "gangstar lean" on the drivers side. Can l mount the driver side hanger lower to address this situation? NOt a lot lower, but enough to remedy the lean? Thanks in advance...

Alright to address your first question, it is recomended that once you make it to the 6 inch neighborhood that you should swap to a one piece. If you are going to swap in chevy leafs and some chevy 2" drop shackles (lift a ranger) you will be getting close to that 6 inch mark. I did the 2 piece swap along with the 63 swap and I could not be happier.

Second question, do not mount your hangers at different levels. When I lifted mine I had swapped the sides that the leafs mounted on originally. If you want, use the passanger side leaf for the drivers and vice versa, this should correct most of your lean, but what really causes that lean is the front coils.

So just to clear it up... you stayed with a 2 piece driveshaft while running the drop shackles and chevy leafs?

What vehicle can l use as a donor for a 1 piece driveline?
