has anyone had this problem with chevy spring swap

I'm running the 5.5" procomp 88-98 leafs with no issues like that. Longer shackles will 'help' but they aren't the solution. I'd move your front hangar another 1.5/2" forward and flip the springs back around. It sucks as it's a lot of extra work....but it is the right way to fix it.

That might be where your issue is (most people use stock C1500 springs)

A longer shackle (BellTech 6400 or similar) should stop that from happening.

You drove it with no diff cover on your axle?:icon_confused:

i've been hearing both sides a few guys on pirate say shorter shackle and your saying longer. i'm all kinds of confused.. :icon_rofl:

it hasnt actually driven anywhere i just pushed it out the garage. when it rolled off the concrete pad it flexed.

I can't imagine how a shorter shackle could possibly solve anything... The RBV shackle is almost too short as it is. An even shorter shackle would just be allowed to flip and get bound up in the opposite direction as well. :dunno:

Me thinks someone there is smokin something they shouldn't be lol.

What dont they smoke over there at pirate....lol

thanks guys i'll move it up and flip them back around and see if it fixes it.
