Chevy spring swap hardware?

Oh ok I'm sorry. For some reason I was thinking you were swapping in a 9" like what I did.
Then yes they should line up fine. You'll need to flex it out to get the exact measurement for your shocks. Search around and see what other people did for their leaf swaps.

Well I got all the hardware. $70 later lol. Guess that's not too bad. 56 pieces.

So I guess the newer rangers are different. This is how the two half's of frame meet on my 06.

The back half is the raised half. If I get a 1" wide piece of steel the same thickness to put between the front half of frame and the hanger will that work?

Or even just a thick washer in between?

Another pic. Same on driver side. Aside from driver side hanger being bolted on rather than riveted.

Yeah a 1-2" wide piece is what I'd use.

Awesome. I like this better than older ones. No cutting involved. Solid.

Going to be attacking the minor rust seen as well. Surprised how little there is. Just goes to show if ya take care of things they will last. Canadian salty winters can be hell if you let it sit on there.

I bet! My truck has been here in California all it's life as far as I know and it had pitting rust behind the coil buckets when I pulled them off. I wire wheeled them today in anticipation of re painting the frame.

I coated mine when I got it with rubberized undercoating so that helps. But I didn't have the bed off when I did that so I couldn't get it all. Its pretty solid though so I'll scuff it up and hit it all.

So as for amount of lift, sitting on the ground the Chevy's are 2.5" taller. If I remove my stock block, and use the stock shackles that should get me around .5"-1" of lift I'm guessing. Due to sagging less at ride height Does that sound logical? Or am I way off. I don't want to go to much higher than that if I can help it.

That sounds right to me. Also remember it will ride rougher due to the heavier springs. You may want to pull a spring out. Test drive it first and see if you like it then if you don't pull a spring from each pack

Shouldn't be to bad, have a full size spare, shovel, 60" hi lift, and a tool box full of tow ropes, hitches, d rings etc back there. Stock ranger leafs sit flat at ride height lol. I'll see how it is but it should be fine. If not I'll pull out the overload and try that.

There ya go!

Hmm. May have an issue here...

Bottom lined up with bolt. This is the top one. Hard to see, but the bottom of the old hole overlaps where the new hole needs to be.

Will this be an issue?

Drill it out. I've seen bigger holes lol. Just put a large washer or a drill a hole in a 2"x2" piece and put it on the inside of the frame to be safe.
