frame rot

Featured Build Threads

I like the principle there, but it doesn't seem possible when the nut is already against the frame inside the hanger.

I used it on the front. the rears were rusted enough I just sorta tore the metal off.
it's been a few years since I did this when I chopped up a '99 parts truck.

Well gave up with blasting as IOWA weather has other ideas. Used a needle scalier air powered from Menards there cheapest one. Buy ear muffs. Here is pic of the sides still have to cover bottom of frame. Didn't want to get covered with rust as have to go somewhere. Still have to do inside frame where fuel tank is. I'm getting a lot of wounds as old man skin isn't tough. And my spotless garage looks like poo. Going to take weeks to clean.

Looking great. What undercoating paint etc are you using on the chassis?
