Just throwing this out there if anyone is interested in swap parts, I have the following from a late 90's V8 Explorer that I'm not going to use:
Engine & transmission wiring harnesses minus the ECU: $50 plus shipping for these, nothing is cut that I could see (junkyard pulled this whole setup.)
BW 4404 t-case - I suppose I could ship this... $100 plus whatever shipping cost is
Engine itself: will be missing the timing cover, balancer, all accessories. Basically a long block plus both intakes. Has GT40P heads.
Brand new set of chrome shorty headers (not sure what brand/unmarked.)
The engine has 180psi +/- compression on 5/6/7/8 but 1, 3, 4 only tested at about 100psi wet and #2 was really weak, I could only get 65psi out of it. I have not investigated further.
I can sell it all together or split it up - rather not ship any of these due to weight.
Long block w/ both intakes, oil pan, AND headers: $300 - will include wiring for free + auto trans flex plate & starter. Hell you can even have the t-case free if you want it...
Long block minus the headers: $200
Heads only: $100
Heads & headers: $200
Short block only: $100
Headers only: I'm keeping these unless they sell with the heads or complete engine, sorry
