Got the 620 all sorted out last night. Alternator mounted up, battery hold down complete, all wiring tidied up, and made a heat shield for the muffler.

FYI an 18" belt looks silly before its installed.

Yesterday the sun was shining... so we made hay!

It still needs a bit of work. First bale broke the twine and pulled it out of the twine arm so I just baled without to get it done so I could move on. Bales have a nice density but really need twine to keep them together. Also it could use a little more gumption ejecting the bale, it doesn't kick it out hard enough to pop back together and relatch.

I got four bales off my water ways and barn for all my work lol.

Hoping for another cutting but this late in the year it is hard to say.

We sold one of those a few years ago. What magnificent contraptions they are. Just mind blowing, much like Gleaner combines.

I have always wanted one of these and now that I am mowing 4+ acres every week with my little Frankenstein 716 I jumped on the opportunity to snag this 620 at auction...paid way to much for its condition, but the Onan runs very strong and all of the hackery is/was reversible. The front tires are driving me nuts, but I'm on the hunt for the 9" wheel setup if I can find them for a reasonable price.

9" front tire? Is that part of the AG tire option you could buy these tractors with when new?

It's what came with the 31x15.50 rears. Mine had the 29x12.00 rears when I got it. The factory Ag rears were 6.00-16s and came with really narrow wheel up front. Like a 12x3 or something

My parents finally closed the deal on part of our family's original farm. Bitter-sweet feelings about it, but they were bale to purchase triple the acreage further outside of city limits and plan to build a house and a few barns.

First order of business has been to start shuffling the tractor collection as weather and time permit. We were able to get about 16 or so of the operational tractors (not all pictured) moved so far into an existing barn on the new "campus"

Packing them in tight to make sure we have room for more tractors, wagons, implements to be shoe horned in.

Convert your tractors in Ranger tractors and then you'll only have half of the vehicles.

You're welcome.
